Sublimit Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 3, 2026
Sublimit is designed to help you track subscriptions while keeping your personal spending details under your control.
Information You Add
Sublimit stores the subscription names, prices, currencies, billing cycles, categories, notes, renewal dates, reminder preferences, and icons you enter in the app.
You choose what to add. Avoid entering sensitive account credentials, card numbers, passwords, or other information that is not needed for subscription tracking.
How Your Information Is Used
- The app uses your subscription data to calculate totals, show upcoming renewals, generate insights, schedule local reminders, power widgets, and support import or export features.
- Sublimit does not sell your personal information and does not use your subscription data for advertising.
Storage and Sync
- Your data is stored on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, supported data may be synced through your personal iCloud account using Apple’s services.
- Widget display data may be written to the app group shared with Sublimit widgets so your widgets can show upcoming renewals and totals.
Notifications
- If you enable reminders, Sublimit schedules local notifications on your device for upcoming renewals. Notification permission is managed by iOS.
- You can change reminder settings in the app or disable notifications from iOS Settings.
Purchases
- Sublimit may offer paid features through Apple in-app purchases. Apple processes purchases, subscriptions, trials, cancellations, and refunds under its own terms and privacy policy.
- The app may check purchase status to enable Pro features.
Your Choices
- You can edit or delete subscriptions, reset subscription data, turn off iCloud sync, disable reminders, and hide amounts from widgets in Settings.
- Exports that you create are controlled by you. Be careful when sharing exported files or summaries because they may contain spending details.
Changes
This policy may be updated as Sublimit changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
